Now, let's imaging if she would have given up after the 12th rejection. She didn't give up because she believes in herself and her persistence for her work landed her what she deserved.

1. Believe in yourself
If you don't believe in yourself then how can you expect others to believe in you?

2. Make a plan and strategy to avoid procrastination
Without planning, it's really hard to stay persistent. Hard work without plan and strategy is something like pushing a wall, sure you are not going to achieve anything.

If you are not enjoying the process then you may get bore and depress very soon. Lack of interest is enough to demotivate you from your target. Once you are bored with your work soon you will think of an emergency exit justifying your decision to quit.

5. Do not let criticism discourage you.
People around you will not support you in a positive way. They will criticize and discourage you, I am not talking about all of them but some creepy and toxic people around you will going to do this for sure.
The key is to not let their words dominate you. You have to learn how to use their criticism as motivation to keep going one step ahead to your goal.
Everyone faces criticism and discourages in life whether you are in a school, in a college, or working in an office. The road to success is not a piece of cake in fact it's challenging, this is why only a few succeed in their life, and others live their lives in an ordinary way. There will be countless times when you will face defeat and failure. And, if you are weak, you will be succumbing to negative thoughts of fear and doubts.

The worst thing to do is to think of an emergency exit, justifying your decision with such excuses as "not my cup of tea" "not exactly what I expected", ''I no longer need it", bla bla bla...
Before quitting, just take a few moments to think about it. Go back to the moment when you started- the very beginning.
Do you still remember your excitement and desire to immerse yourself in a new adventure?
Now, imagine that you have just achieved your desired goal and now, you are free to do anything you want.

The only thing you need to do is to change the way you think. Treat multiple obstacles in your way as a part of your journey. Thinking twice before quitting may help you to change your decision and to stay more persistent towards your goal.
Please don't search for the emergency exit- It won't bring the expected relief but only regret. Searching for an emergency gate will lead you to give up. If you want to persist something seriously, you have to keep in mind how badly you want that thing and how much pleaser and pride you are going to feel after achieving your goal.
