1. Take a shower to relax your body.
Feeling exhausted and tired after a hectic day and you just wanna jump to your bed? wait a minute, before doing this go to the bathroom first and take a shower. Taking shower with warm water can washout all negative thoughts out of your mind, and helps your body to feel relax. After a hectic day, you need to refresh your mind and body. By doing this you washout all the dirt, sweat, and pollution from your body.
some people go with a hot shower and some prefer cold water, well it completely depends on your choice and on the place where you are living.
One important point you should keep in your mind is before taking a shower make sure u are not sweating, better you wait for at least 20 to 30 minutes if you are coming back from the gym.
2. Get a head massage for a positive thought
Massage is something that you hardly gonna deny it, at least I wouldn't. Massage helps to reduce the aches, tension, and pain in your shoulder, back, and heck. I love massage, it really works for me. Whenever I feel tense, tired and exhausted, I get a head massage.
It helps to reduce stress, improve blood circulation and give you a better sleep. Massaging your head may increase the supply of oxygen to your brain which is definitely going to make a positive impact on your mood and reduce your anxiety and stress.

Call your best friends or meet with them. Tell them how was your day, also ask them how was their day. Usually what I do with my friends is that we make endless dirty jokes, roast each other but we never get angry with each other.

Spending time with babies may reduce your stress and it also can help you to calm your mind. don't you feel melted when a baby smile at you whenever you are in a grocery store, mall or in a park? don't you want to hold them in your are? No doubt, pets are a good way to de-stress yourself. Pet makes us happy and loved with their cute acts. people have pets according to their choice. people keep dogs, cats, birds, fish, etc as a pet. playing with your doga or cats increases the level of serotonin, serotonin is a chemical that makes you feel calm and happy. You can ease your muscles by watching fishes.

This one is my favorite way to feel relax after a hectic. I love eating, I am a foody kind of guy. It is a good way to motivate yourself for the next task. It's like rewarding yourself for your hard work. having your favorite meal after a tiring day is like "icing on a cake".

Watching your favorite TV show, sport or something according to your interest is a good way to divert your mind from your workload. Now it has become a trend to watch online web series. it is also a great way to divert your mind from stress and to relax after a hectic way.

Swimming is one of the best exercises which required your full-body movement. It releases endorphins that can give you a feeling of happiness, it also helo you to light your mood up.
